Everything on this list are our genuine picks and we don’t receive anything from adding them here. Just your dog’s gratitude!
Christmas Gift Guide for Dogs
Advent Calendar from JR Pet Products
We get one of these every year for Duke. They’re great fun to do when we’re tucking into our own tiny bits of chocolate and they’re a natural, healthy treat too.
Chewy Variety Treat Box from Nell + Lola
We love the chews from Nell + Lola and buy these year round. Chewing is an important behaviour for dogs as it helps them to relax. This is especially important for dogs that struggle to settle and reactive dogs who may need some help calming back down after stressful experiences. We regularly get the ‘Dental Chew Box’ from Nell + Lola too- great for keeping Duke’s teeth clean and plaque free.
Lucky Dip Bags from Not for Humans
Dog owners local to Folkestone will surely already know all about Not for Humans! This little pet boutique along The Old High Street is a local gem for dog and cat owners alike. Debbie has a huge range of tasty natural treats, sustainably made and fun toys and locally made beds, bandanas and more. It really is a treasure trove. This year Debbie has collated a selection of her favourite products in these Lucky Dip Bags. Pop in store to pick one up for your dog.
Personalised Paw Print Christmas Stocking from Modo Creative
If your dog has been more nice than naughty this year and Santa Paws has got something nice planned, why not treat them to their own stocking?! These are made from heavy duty cotton so will last for years, plus you can have them personalised with your dogs name. Duke’s hoping his stocking won’t be full of coal after this year…
You might have read on our blog and social media that I’m not a big fan of repetitive ball throwing for dogs. I stand by this! However, there is a place for using balls as a training reward if your dog enjoys them. I recently bumped into a clients dog on the beach playing with one of these squeaky balls on a rope. Duke, who literally never steals other dogs toys, immediately nicked this poor dogs ball and was obsessed with it! The takeaway for me was that this was a toy we needed at home as clearly he loves it. I’ll be using this as a reward for all sorts of training games.
Gifts for Dog Lovers
Pet Portrait Christmas Ornament from Peggy & Kate
These handmade Christmas tree baubles are definitely an investment gift for the pet lover in your life. But, they are absolutely beautiful and would make a stunning addition to any tree. I think they’d make an especially thoughtful gift for owners who may have lost their beloved pet this year.
Doggy Cake Mixes from The Bottled Baking Co
Got a dog owner in your life who also fancies they’d do alright on Bake Off? Then this is the gift for them. The Bottled Baking Co has a selection of different bake mixes in a bottles for you to choose from, including Carrot Cake and Cheezy Cranberry Biscuits. Duke would definitely appreciate this being gifted to us on his behalf!

Matching Dog Jumper & Scarf from Wag & Wool
If you’re wanting to go all out treating the dog lover in your life, then it’s got to be this scarf for them with a matching coat for their dog from Wag & Wool. The dog coat and (human) scarf are made from cruelty free wool here in the UK and frankly, they’re gorgeous. The burgundy set is gender neutral and they also do a dog coat and matching headband. I’ve never been so sad that Duke won’t wear a coat, I’d be all over this!
